STUDENT DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE

This year's Student Development Conference will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. All events will take place on the third floor of the Student Center where panelists, headshots, and food will be open for students to enjoy. The topics of this conference will include professional development, social justice and activism, sports media, and how science and stem intertwine.

The Student Development Conference creates a pathway for students to understand the complexities of Public Relations and all of the different options it offers students. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE IN PUBLIC RELATIONS TO BE IMPACTED BY PR! The SDC offers a variety of panels for every student to learn and enjoy whether it be in professional development, media and journalism, to the STEM Field.

The SDC will also be hosting an internship fair for organizations to highlight the different internships and programs they are offering to students as well as a chance for students to get a free professional Headshot provided by the The Eastern Michigan University Advising and Career Development Center!
