Assistant Professor, Public Relations- Faculty Advisor
Jamie Ward, Ph.D
Dr. Jamie Ward is an Assistant Professor of Public Relations at EMU and has aquired 10 years of teach experience during her career. Jamie received her bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, her master's degree in Communications from Eastern Michigan University, and her doctorate degree in Communication and Media Studies from Bowling Green State University.

Prior to EMU, Jamie worked in the nonprofit sector of PR with clients including the Girl Scouts of Macomb County, HAVEN, The Michigan Nonprofit Association, Girls Empowered, Make A Wish Foundation and several other Michigan based nonprofit organizations. She also owned her own firm, Unique Notions.

Jamie has also released many Publications and Presentations throughout her career. Jamie has experience in re-branding campaigns, crisis communications and local/national media coverage. She is also a member of PRSA.

Melissa Foster
Melissa Foster has been with The Henry Ford for nearly 7 years now. Melissa recieved her bachelor's degree in Integrative Public Relations from Central Michigan University.
Melissa manages media and film relations at The Henry Ford and its five attractions: Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, Greenfield Village, The Henry Ford Giant Screen Experience, Ford Rouge Factory Tour and the Benson Ford Research Center. She also assists with the onsite coordination of The Henry Ford's Emmy-winning TV show "The Henry Ford's Innovation Nation" which airs Saturday mornings on CBS nationwide.

Prior to The Henry Ford Museum, Melissa worked as an Account Executive at Airfoil and PCGCampbell.
